The Breakdown
Taste: Nutrex was kind enough to send me a free tub of their preworkout Hemo Rage Black in their "Brusin Berry" flavor, the taste was "ok" not my favorite but I really did like the product so I ordered a second tub on my own and got their "Malicious Melon" (watermelon) flavor and it taste much worse than the berry in my opinion. But keep in mind this is a preworkout and not crystal lite. All in all though it is a tolerable taste and if you mix it with a lot of water you probably wont get much of any flavor.
Energy: I took a full scoop on my Biceps and Triceps day about 30 minutes before I went to the gym. By the time I got there I could feel the effects. It wasn't like pounding down 3 energy drinks and shaking for 4 hours the energy was pretty clean but I have a high caffeine tolerance so some people might experience jitters. After about 2 and a half hours after taking hemo rage I felt the "crash" this was probably the worst product I've taken when it comes to crashing, but it's what I expected from after getting the energy boost the first time. I'm going to keep taking it and hopefully the crashes will be less intense.
Focus: Focus on this product is probably the best feature of this product it gives you the energy boost most people are looking for in a preworkout but this product put me in the zone. I didn't want to stop inbetween sets and talks to a few of my friends at the gym like I usually do, I was in there to get business done. If your having trouble keeping on track in the gym then you should probably check this product out.
Mixability: this is pretty self explanatory I mixed one scoop in a bottle of water and shook it up everything dissolved pretty well except a few vary small white specs that looked like creatine. The second time I took this product I threw a scoop in a glass and mixed it with a spoon and got virtually the same result so however you prefer to prepare your preworkouts you'll be fine.
Final Thoughts: This product is pretty awesome I as far as preworkouts go like I mentioned before I snatched up a second tub while they were doing there free 2lb tub of protein promo. Normally I would have waited until I finished the first tub, but that deal was to good to pass up. Most people are comparing this product to jack3d and I've taken both and I'd say they're about even I didn't notice a whole lot of difference yet except with hemo rage you never have to take more than one scoop according to the label. The price is great and Nutrex really does care about their customers and products. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new preworkout I've had a good experience with it so far.
